Ryan Ries – I am Second

I am Second Website

I recently discovered a unique Christian website iamsecond.com that has a series of monologue videos all filmed against a black background with a white leather chair for the interviewee.

The whole modern, “avante-garde” style sets its approach apart from most Christian sites.

I am Second means second to Jesus Christ.

The website features a growing number of testimonies by a wide range of well known public figures as well as some lesser known ones.

The site has gone truly viral with many millions of views in over 200 countries in just over a year.

Here is an excerpt from About I am Second:

Inspiring the Revolution of Second

I am Second is a movement meant to inspire people of all kinds to live for God and for others. Actors. Athletes. Musicians. Business leaders. Drug addicts. Your next-door neighbor. People like you. The authentic stories on iamsecond.com provide insight into dealing with typical struggles of everyday living. These are stories that give hope to the lonely and the hurting, help from destructive lifestyles, and inspiration to the unfulfilled. You’ll discover people who’ve tried to go it alone and have failed. Find the hope, peace, and fulfillment they found. Be Second.

Ryan Ries

Ryan Ries is among the most popular stories on the I am Second website with over 5 million views.

Ryan had a rough time battling addictions to drugs, sex and gambling from his early teens until he reached the bottom, almost losing his life to heavy doses of multiple drugs.

He cried out to God and things began to change.

He expected the heavens to open and a host of angels to welcome him into his new spiritual home but that didn’t happen.

Watch and listen to his powerful story.

What an amazing transformation!

Ryan did a great job of chronicling his struggles with addiction both before and after he became a committed Christian.

It is helpful to know that even when Ryan’s temptations remained, the Holy Spirit of God inside of him was fighting for him.
