An Autumn Image to Brighten Your Day October 8
Living in northern New York State, USA, I see scenes like this one as my wife, Lynn, and I take “leaf peeping” tours in the car.
Last year we went for the day with another couple and were blessed with a spectacular display of all the colors; yellows, oranges and my favorite, reds, at their peak.
As a bonus, the weather was warm and we picnicked at a scenic parking area overlooking a lake with the Adirondack Mountains as a background.
The location was the same place we took our first camping trip over a half century ago!
Do you have an autumn event like leaf peeping, apple picking, Oktoberfest or something special you do to bid a fond farewell to the warm/hot season and prepare yourself for the cool/cold season?
