Nick Magnotti Dying of Cancer – Extraordinary Video to His Daughter (and us)
Nick Magnotti is a 27 year old new father who has been battling cancer for over 2 years.
The cancer originated in his appendix and spread throughout his abdominal cavity, despite many efforts to curb the cancer’s aggressive nature. Through all the treatments, multiple surgeries, intense heated intra-peritoneal chemotherapy treatments, seventeen rounds of systemic chemo and countless hours of excruciating pain – he continued to smile.
Though doctors can no longer help him, the word he uses to describe how he feels now, is, blessed.

FURTHER UPDATE: Alyssa continued the blog she and Nick had started in 2010 for several months after Nick’s death. It is inspiring to read.
You will see at the most recent post on that blog that Alyssa started a new blog in December 2014 – Faith over Fear at:
She has remarried and her husband, Jay, has adopted Nick and Alyssa’s daughter Austyn. Alyssa describes the process of meeting and marrying Jay Galios and Jay’s commitment to be the legal father of Austyn in this “Happy Ending/Beginning” post.
