Planetary Panoramas – 360 Degree Night-Sky Time-Lapse Video
Intro
I found a fascinating time-lapse video recently which I will show you in a minute.
The video and the time-lapse photography are the products of Vincent Brady, a young man who studied photography in college and then innovated the equipment to produce the spectacular effects you will see.
Vincent also has a friend, Brandon McCoy, who has composed and played the some times eerie and sometimes ethereal musical accompaniment.
Vincent has a website that has several time-lapse videos and many night sky still photos as well as some background on his passions and techniques.
An introductory paragraph reads:
The cyber home of the photographer who dances on the fine line of reality and fantasy.
I love natural light in dark. Bioluminescence, starlight, auroras, if it glows you can count on me to capture the light and share it with you. After receiving an Associates Degree in Photography, I spent a lot of time on the road chasing dark skies and fireflies. Much of my work has been focused around a homemade 4 camera rig to capture 360 degree time-lapse images of startrails and aurora borealis. Currently taking my footage and diving into Virtual Reality.
The site is well worth checking out at:
Now take a look at Planetary Panoramas.
Well, what did you think?
Did you visit the site?
Some really cool effects there.
Hope you enjoyed them.
Brady actually invited comments on a Guest Book Page so feel free to let him know directly what you think of his work.
Etc.
