I recently discovered a unique Christian website iamsecond.com that has a series of monologue videos all filmed against a black background with a white leather chair for the interviewee.

The whole modern, “avante-garde” style sets its approach apart from most Christian sites.

I am Second means second to Jesus Christ.

The website features a growing number of testimonies by a wide range of well known public figures as well as some lesser known ones.

The site has gone truly viral with many millions of views in over 200 countries in just over a year.

 David Ring

On October 28th, 1953, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, David was born with Cerebral Palsy. Orphaned at age 14, he was cast about from family to family with nowhere to call home. He endured constant physical pain, humiliating public ridicule and constant discouragement. Yet in the face of these seemingly insurmountable obstacles, David emerged not victimized…but victorious!

Watch and listen to David describe his incredible journey from infant “death” to cerebral palsy, ridicule, parents’ deaths, multiple attempts at suicide, an encounter with God and a dramatically changed life.

 

 

What an amazing transformation!

It reminds me of apostle Paul who was not an impressive physical specimen or even Moses who told the Lord God that he was “slow of speech”.

God knew what He was doing with them and with David Ring, too.
