Jesus Was Crucified, Buried and Resurrected – But Where?
We Saw Two Sites Where Jesus May Have Been Crucified, Buried and Resurrected
In 2007 my wife, Lynn, and I toured Israel with a group of about 300 members and spouses of Aglow International.
Aglow began as a US-based Christian Women’s Organization and over time broadened to a worldwide Christian organization open to men and teens as well as women.
Anyway, the trip was truly a pilgrimage to the Holy Land and a once-in-a-lifetime spiritual experience.
I’ll be describing our tour in a series of posts over the next several weeks but Easter seemed the perfect time to begin.
Actually, our tour began at the very same point that this series of posts will begin and that was a visit to The Garden Tomb and, several days later, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Each of these two sites has scholars and other followers who believe it is the true site where Jesus Christ was crucified.
It was an unbelievably moving experience to stand in the space at each of these locations and contemplate what it must have been like as the events of the Crucifixion, burial, and Resurrection unfolded.
Videos of Sites Where Jesus May Have Been Crucified
As I searched around for some video to illustrate these locations (I only took stills on the trip), I found this video by CBN News.
Even though you will not be physically present, seeing these actual places and hearing the explanations for them will make the black and white pages of the biblical story come to life (I hope).
Well, what do you think? Did the video make the biblical story more real?
Did it affect you, personally?
Leave a comment, PLEASE.
Etc.

Thanks.
I appreciate it.
