Christians all over the world are rejoicing that Joni is coming through COVID-19 successfully.
Joni Eareckson Tada has been an amazing person for over a half century since she damaged her spinal column in a diving accident as a teenager. My wife, Lynn, and I have followed her ministry over the years. Most recently, I wrote a blog post about her singing the song "Alone but Not Alone" that was nominated for an Academy Award. Joni was scarcely able to inhale enough air to reach the higher notes of the song.
