Mary Maxwell – Funny Prayer About Aging at Caregiver of the Year Dinner

Prayer at the Caregiver Dinner

Laughing With Mary Maxwell – 18 Million YouTube Views

Listen carefully and watch her facial expressions as this dear lady, Mary Maxwell,  gives the Invocation at the HomeInstead Caregiver of the Year Dinner.

The prayer takes a significant turn at about 1:20.

This video is a two-level message.

It’s funny and its a reminder about aging and the importance of those around the aging person who give family attention, or, in this case, professional attention.

Enjoy…and be reminded of your (and my) role in caring for and caring about the aging people in our lives.

Was that fun?

Interesting that it appeared on the TodayChristian.net website.

Did you hear a bit of spiritual message between the funny lines?

I am deaf. Would appreciate seeing/reading words to the “funny prayer.” Thanks.

    • Hi, Carolyn,
Sorry to take so long to reply but we were moving from Florida to upstate New York for the summer and just got back on the internet.

The best I can do for you is for you to watch the YouTube video link below. This video has word-for-word subtitles of the spoken words of Mary Maxwell’s speech and “prayer”.
I hope this will make you laugh as she is very funny and seeing her “deadpan” facial expression helps, too.
