The Church Triumphant – Then and Now
The original performance of this song written and performed by Gloria and Bill Gaither was in the mid 1970s nearly 50 years ago. It has been sung by and at successive groupings of the Gaither music enterprise that spans over a half century and is “alive and well” today.
An updated version was released in early January 2021 and it is even more inspirational than before thanks to the wonders of modern technology.
Some discouraged Christians, and others, too, may question whether the Church is really triumphant and alive and well in 2021. Many aspects of our current culture and circumstances of pandemic, political strife and racial unrest challenge the fabric of our core values and the institutions that support them.
The Church Triumphant 2021 affirms that the Church is, indeed, alive and well and is as capable of weathering the current storms as it has been for 2000+ years.
The use of modern technology in the video presentation reenforces the scope and breadth of this view and is truly inspirational.

Is the Church Triumphant Alive and Well?
I think so. Deep down, I believe people of faith turn more and more to their faith in troubled times whether those troubled times are very personal or whether they are nationwide or worldwide.
